Poland is not decided by a single airport but by a network: Warsaw first, then Katowice, Gdańsk, Wrocław and Poznań, each with its own peak pattern.
Warsaw Chopin is the country's only true hub. Its busiest stretch follows the business flights towards western Europe, clustered between six and eight in the morning — the window where security is tightest, and where skipping the queue pays for itself most clearly.
The regional airports behave differently. Katowice, Wrocław and Poznań live on low-cost traffic: few flights spread through the day, but dense waves at departure, when several services reach the checkpoint at once. Gdańsk adds strong seasonality, the Baltic drawing most of its leisure traffic between June and August.
