Barcelona-El Prat is built around two separate terminals, T1 and T2, which are not connected airside. T1 handles most of the traffic (including the majority of long-haul flights and the main Star Alliance, SkyTeam and oneworld carriers); T2 mainly serves low-cost airlines.
