It is a mid-sized airport whose traffic clusters into a few departure waves each day: between waves the terminal is quiet, and during a wave the security checkpoint absorbs several flights at once. How much time you save
The gain depends entirely on timing. Outside a wave, security at Ercan moves quickly and Fast Track adds little. In the middle of a departure wave — usually early morning and evening, and more pronounced in high season — the standard queue can stretch out considerably. That is when the priority lane earns its keep: a few minutes instead of a queue, in a compact terminal where waiting space is limited.

Tips for ECN
- Check your departure wave: look at whether other flights leave within the same half hour as yours — it is the best predictor of queueing at security.
- Keep your QR voucher available offline (screenshot): mobile coverage can be saturated inside the terminal.
