Paphos International Airport (PFO) is Cyprus's second gateway and the main one for the west of the island. It is a mid-sized airport strongly shaped by tourism: seasonal traffic, leisure flights, grouped departures. Fast Track — the most booked service here — takes you through the security checkpoint in minutes, with the same regulatory screening as the standard queue.
How Fast Track works at Paphos
Fast Track at Paphos is access to a dedicated security lane, separate from the general queue. The check is identical — bag scanner, walk-through detector: only the waiting time changes. You book online, pick your date, and receive a QR voucher by email to show at the entrance to the priority lane.
At Paphos, access starts at €8.09 per person. The exact price and availability appear live for your slot when you book.
The Premium Lounge
The Premium Lounge, in the main terminal, is bookable from €29 per person: alcoholic drinks, TVs, Wi-Fi and wheelchair access. No loyalty card or business-class ticket required.
At an airport where departures cluster, the lounge handles the second half of the problem: the wait once you are through security, when the public areas fill at the pace of the waiting flights.
VIP assistance on departure and arrival
Two assistance packages are offered in the main terminal, each from €130 per person:
- on departure: priority security check, escorted check-in and passport control;
- on arrival: name-sign welcome, priority passport control, porter service and shared transfer.
These are end-to-end handling products, answering a different need from Fast Track.
How much time you save
Paphos is not busy continuously — it is busy in bursts. From April to October, several leisure flights reach the same checkpoint close together, often with families and bulky luggage, and the standard queue stretches out noticeably. Off season and mid-day, it moves quickly. Fast Track is therefore judged by time slot, and in the busy ones it brings the crossing back to a few minutes.
Paying less with SkyEntry Pass
If Cyprus is part of a wider trip, or you are travelling as a group, the SkyEntry Pass subscription pays off quickly: 20% off every airport service — Fast Track, lounge, assistance — and a free 1 GB eSIM every month. The trial is €1 for 48 hours, then €29.90/month or €249/year, no commitment, cancel any time.
One return trip for two with lounge access already exceeds the cost of a month's subscription. Details on the pricing and subscription page.
Tips for PFO
- Identify your slot: if several flights leave within the same half hour, the wait bears no relation to an isolated departure.
- Book ahead in season: priority slots are limited.
- Keep your QR voucher available offline (screenshot).
- Fast Track does not exempt you from security rules: liquids and electronics are presented as in the standard queue.
