Zvartnots International Airport (EVN) is Armenia's main international gateway, about twelve kilometres west of Yerevan. At busy periods — late-night and very early-morning departures in particular — the wait at the security checkpoint can build up quickly. Fast Track, access to a priority security lane, gets you through this friction point in minutes, with exactly the same regulatory screening as the standard queue.
How Fast Track works at Zvartnots
Fast Track at Yerevan is access to a dedicated security lane, separate from the general queue. The screening itself is identical (bag scanner, walk-through detector): only the waiting time changes. You book online, choose your date, and receive a QR voucher by email to show at the entrance of the priority lane.
At Zvartnots, access starts from €25 per person. The exact price and availability are shown live according to the time slot and the services you choose at the moment of booking.
Where to use it
Zvartnots handles the bulk of its passenger traffic through a single departures terminal. The Fast Track entry point is the priority lane at the security checkpoint, indicated on your voucher. There's no need to hunt between several terminals: after check-in and bag drop, head for the signposted priority lane rather than the general queue.
Still arrive at the airport with your usual margin: Fast Track reduces the wait at security, not check-in, bag drop or passport control.
How much time you save
Traffic at EVN is heavily concentrated in certain windows: many long-haul flights leave in the middle of the night or in the small hours, which creates peaks at security. With the priority lane, the crossing usually drops back to a few minutes. The gain is clearest on evenings with several departures, at weekends and during holiday periods.
VIP lounge in Yerevan
Beyond the priority lane, Zvartnots offers VIP lounges that you can access regardless of your airline or ticket class: a quiet space, wifi, drinks and food before your flight. It's the natural companion to Fast Track for turning a wait — often a night-time one in Yerevan — into useful time. Available lounges and their prices are shown with the other services at booking.
VIP assistance and Meet & Greet
For a fully handled passage, a personalised Meet & Greet service is also available at Zvartnots: an agent welcomes you and guides you through the airport formalities. It's especially useful for a first trip to Armenia, a tight connection or travelling with family. VIP assistance and its prices are shown alongside Fast Track at the moment of booking.
Tips for your journey through EVN
- Book ahead: priority slots are limited in number at peak times.
- Keep your QR voucher accessible offline (a screenshot): the network can be congested at the airport.
- Plan for night flights: at Yerevan, a large share of international departures take place in the evening or before dawn.
- Fast Track doesn't exempt you from security rules: liquids and electronics are presented just as in the standard queue.
