Where to use it: Ibiza's single terminal

Ibiza is built around one passenger terminal, with a single security area serving all departures. That simplicity is convenient — there is no risk of heading to the wrong terminal — but it also means the queue has nowhere to spread. When departures cluster together, especially on weekend evenings and at the end of summer stays, the standard lane can back up fast.

Fast Track sends you straight to the priority lane at the security checkpoint shown on your voucher. Arrive with your usual margin all the same: Fast Track shortens the wait at security, but it does not speed up check-in or bag drop, and it cannot hold a flight for you.

How much time you save

Out of season, Ibiza's single checkpoint tends to move smoothly. In summer, though — from May to October, at departure banks and on tourist changeover days — the standard queue can become very long, and a compact terminal offers little room to absorb the crowd. The priority lane uses the same checkpoints but a shorter line, so the gain is greatest on the busiest days, precisely when your flight leaves in a peak window. Is Fast Track worth it at Ibiza?

Ibiza is one of Spain's most seasonal airports: quiet for much of the year, it concentrates a huge volume of passengers through one security area in high summer. If your flight leaves in a peak window, or you are travelling with children, bulky hand luggage or after a short night, the priority lane removes the one part of the journey you cannot otherwise control. Out of season, or on a quiet midday, the standard lane may be enough.

Booking, changes and refunds

Bookings open from the same day up to 180 days ahead. Cancellation conditions follow the airport partner's own deadline, generally between 2 and 24 hours before your slot — the exact cut-off is stated in your confirmation email — and no refund applies after that deadline or in case of no-show. Separately, if your flight ends up departing 2 hours or more late, or is cancelled, your Fast Track booking is refunded.

Tips for your trip through IBZ
