Marseille Provence Airport (MRS) is the main gateway to Provence and one of France's largest regional airports. Located at Marignane, about 25 km northwest of Marseille, it sees traffic climb sharply in season. Fast Track — access to a priority security lane — lets you clear the security check in a few minutes, with exactly the same regulatory screening as the standard queue.
How Fast Track works at Marseille Provence
Fast Track in Marseille is access to a dedicated security lane, separate from the general queue. The screening itself is identical (bag scanner, body scanner): only the waiting time changes. You book online, choose your date, and receive a QR voucher by email to show at the entrance of the priority lane.
In Marseille, access starts from €7 per person. The exact price and availability are shown live for your terminal and time slot at the moment of booking.
Where to use it: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2
Marseille Provence is built around two terminals: Terminal 1, the main terminal, which handles most scheduled flights, and Terminal 2, its low-cost terminal. The Fast Track entry point depends on your departure terminal.
Check your terminal on your boarding pass before booking, then head to the priority lane shown on your voucher. If in doubt, arrive with your usual margin: Fast Track cuts the wait at security, not the time needed for check-in or bag drop.
How much time you save
During the morning peaks and in high season — the Mediterranean summer, holiday getaways — Marseille's standard queue can grow noticeably. With the priority lane, clearing security usually drops to a few minutes. The gain is greatest on the busiest days: early departures, weekends and school holidays.
VIP Meet & Greet at Marseille
Beyond the priority lane, Marseille Provence offers a VIP Meet & Greet service: an assistant meets you and guides you through the airport formalities — on departure, on arrival or in transit. It is the natural companion to Fast Track for a smoother passage, and especially handy for families, first-time visitors or tight connections. Availability and pricing appear with the other services at booking.
Tips for your trip through MRS
- Book ahead: priority slots are limited at peak hours.
- Keep your QR voucher available offline (screenshot): the network can be congested at the airport.
- Plan the right terminal: check Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 on your boarding pass before you leave.
- Fast Track does not exempt you from security rules: liquids and electronics are presented as in the standard queue.
- Mind the access: shuttles and car parks serve both terminals; allow time to reach the right checkpoint.
