Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE) is France's third-busiest airport and the main gateway to the French Riviera. In high season and on busy weekends, the wait at the security checkpoint can build up quickly. Fast Track — access to a priority security lane — moves you past that bottleneck in minutes, for the exact same regulatory screening as the standard queue.
How Fast Track works at Nice Côte d'Azur
Fast Track at Nice is access to a dedicated security lane, separate from the general queue. The screening itself is identical (bag scanner, body scanner): only the waiting time changes. You book online, pick your date, and receive a QR voucher by email to show at the entrance of the priority lane.
At Nice, access starts from €10 per person. The exact price and availability are shown live, depending on the terminal and time slot, when you book.
Where to use it: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2
Nice Côte d'Azur is built around two terminals, T1 and T2, which are not connected airside. Each terminal handles different airlines, so the entrance to the priority lane depends on your flight.
Check your terminal on your boarding pass before booking, then head to the priority lane shown on your voucher. If in doubt, arrive at the airport with your usual margin: Fast Track cuts the wait at security, not the time needed for check-in or bag drop.
How much time you save
During morning peaks and at the height of summer, the standard queue at NCE can be long, especially on the busiest days — early departures, weekends, school holidays and major Riviera events. With the priority lane, the security check usually drops back to a few minutes. The saving — in time and in calm — is greatest precisely during those busy periods.
VIP lounge at Nice
Beyond the priority lane, Nice offers VIP lounges you can access regardless of your airline or ticket class: a quiet space, wifi, drinks and food before your flight. It's the natural companion to Fast Track, turning idle waiting into useful time. Available lounges and their prices are shown with the other services when you book.
Meet & Greet and VIP assistance
For an effortless passage, Nice also offers a Meet & Greet service: an agent meets you on arrival and guides you through the formalities, including the priority security lane. It's especially useful for families, time-pressed business travellers, or a first visit to the airport. The availability and price of VIP assistance are shown when you book.
Tips for your trip through NCE
- Book ahead: priority slots are limited at summer peak times.
- Keep your QR voucher available offline (a screenshot): the network can be congested at the airport.
- Plan for the right terminal: T1 and T2 are not connected airside, so allow transfer time if needed.
- Fast Track does not exempt you from security rules: liquids and electronics are presented just as in the standard queue.
