Where to use the priority lane
Tenerife North is built around a single passenger terminal, so there is no risk of heading to the wrong building. After check-in and any bag drop, make your way to the security checkpoint and present your voucher at the entrance of the marked priority lane.
Take care not to confuse TFN with Tenerife South (TFS), the island's other airport, about an hour's drive to the south. Los Rodeos sits on higher ground, which occasionally exposes it to low cloud and fog, so keep a comfortable margin: Fast Track cuts the wait at security, not the time you need for check-in or any delays out on the apron.
How much time you save
At peak times — waves of inter-island departures, early-morning flights to Madrid or Barcelona, busy weekends — the standard queue at TFN can lengthen considerably, especially when several flights leave in the same window. The priority lane usually brings the security check down to a few minutes. The benefit is greatest on the busiest days; in quiet periods, the gap with the standard queue narrows.

- Book ahead: priority slots are limited at peak times.
- Keep your QR voucher available offline (a screenshot): the network can be congested at the airport.
- Check your departure airport: TFN (North/Los Rodeos) or TFS (South) — they are not in the same place.
