It is a modest regional airport with a very particular traffic profile: business-oriented early-morning domestic services, and a summer tourist season that swells volumes sharply. Fast Track at Inverness is access to a dedicated security lane, separate from the general queue. The check is identical — bag scanner, walk-through detector: only the waiting time changes. The Aspire Lounge
The Aspire Lounge, in the main terminal, is bookable from €39 per person: a non-smoking space with alcoholic drinks, TVs and flight information displays. No loyalty card or business-class ticket required.
On an early flight — the most common case here — the lounge mainly changes the quality of the wait: a quiet seat, with somewhere to work or have breakfast before a dawn departure.
The Meet & Assist packages
Two assistance packages are offered in the main terminal, from £280 and £390 per person. The first covers escorted check-in, security and transfer to the aircraft; the second adds a name-sign welcome and passport control. These are full handling products, unrelated to Fast Track in both price and purpose.
How much time you save
Inverness is not a permanently congested airport, and it would be dishonest to pretend otherwise. Queueing concentrates: morning domestic departures, when several flights reach the same checkpoint in a short window, and the summer tourist season. Outside those, the standard queue moves quickly. Fast Track is therefore justified by time slot, not on principle — and in those slots, it brings the crossing back to a few minutes.
